What is a DELF diploma?
The DELF exam recognises skills in French worldwide and students get a diploma delivered by the Education Department of France.
The DELF is the equivalent for IELTS or TOEFL in English and assesses candidates’ ability to listen, speak, read and write in French. The exam is divided into 4 components:
- listening comprehension,
- reading comprehension,
- written expression
- oral expression.
Students can sit exams in Alliance Française centers. In Sydney, there are two sessions per year for adults: one in June and one in November.
