Whether you want to learn a few French sentences to make the most out of your next holiday in France or just want to improve your French quickly, our private French lessons might better suit your needs than our small group classes and might be more flexible to match your schedule.
Private lessons can also be combined with our group lessons offered by Les Petits Potins.
Lesson format
Your native French teacher will speak French with you throughout the whole lesson.
Private lessons’ format depends on your level and your goals; however, your teacher usually prepares your lesson so that you work on writing, listening, speaking and reading exercises. You will learn to express yourself in real life situations, applying your knowledge of French to your own personal context.
- Private lessons are a minimum of 1 hour but can be longer if you wish. We do recommend they do not exceed 90 minutes.
- Private lessons can be as frequent as you want. You control the pace and rhythm of learning; yet meetings with your native French teacher must be on the same day and time (unless special circumstances). We recommend a private lesson on a weekly basis.
Homework
Homework can truly boost your progress in French. As such, we like to assign a variety of exercises to consolidate what you have learned in your private lesson. We also understand that your schedule might be manic or that you simply do want to do homework – and that is fine too!
